Terms of Use

Effective as of July 11, 2026.

Plain-language summary: Viela is a guide to places. Use it with a real account, post only what is yours and in good faith, and confirm opening hours before you go — places change. Suggestions go through our curation. You can delete your account whenever you want; we may remove content or accounts that break these rules.

1. Acceptance

These Terms of Use govern the use of the Viela app and website, operated by Racka (CNPJ 49.116.170/0001-25) ("Viela", "we"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

Viela helps you discover places, save the ones you want to visit, build itineraries and support what is local. The service is in its launch phase: features may change, appear or disappear without notice, and we do not guarantee continuous availability.

3. Your account

  • You must be 13 or older (under-18s need authorization from a parent or guardian).
  • Sign up with truthful information — by email and password, Apple or Google — and keep your password confidential. What happens on your account is your responsibility.
  • You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → delete account). The effects on your data are described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Your content

  • Reviews, collections, profile photos, itineraries and place suggestions remain yours. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, display and distribute that content within the service, for as long as it stays published.
  • Post only content that is truthful, yours (or that you have the right to use) and that does not violate the law or third-party rights. No abuse, discrimination, spam, misleading or illegal content.
  • Place suggestions go through curation: we may edit, complement, publish or decline them. Declined suggestions are deleted automatically within 7 days. Published places become part of the Viela catalog and remain even if the suggesting account is deleted (unlinked from it).
  • Content reports are reviewed by the team; abusing the reporting feature also violates these terms.

5. What is not allowed

  • Circumventing, probing or overloading the service's security and infrastructure.
  • Scraping, bulk data collection or using the catalog to build a competing database.
  • Using the service for unauthorized commercial purposes, creating fake accounts or impersonating someone else.
  • Reverse-engineering the app, except where permitted by law.

6. Third-party content and services

  • Place information (address, opening hours, photos) comes from public sources — including Google Places — and from our curation. It may change or be out of date: confirm before you go. Third-party photos carry the proper attribution.
  • When you open directions or request a ride, you use Apple Maps, Waze or Uber — services of their respective owners, with their own terms and policies. Viela merely forwards the destination you chose.
  • Purchases and experiences at the listed places are between you and the establishment; Viela is not a party or an intermediary.

7. Intellectual property

The Viela brand, the logo, the app, the site and the curated catalog are protected by intellectual property rights of Racka (CNPJ 49.116.170/0001-25) or its licensors. These terms do not transfer any of those rights to you.

8. Moderation, suspension and termination

We may remove content, decline suggestions and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or the law, with notice when possible. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for downtime, for out-of-date place information, for content posted by users or for third-party services. Nothing in these terms waives rights you may have under the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code and other applicable laws.

10. Privacy

The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; relevant changes will be announced through the app or the site. Continuing to use the service after the new version takes effect means you agree to it. The current version is effective as of July 11, 2026.

12. Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. For consumer relationships, the courts of your place of residence have venue; in all other cases, the courts of the controller's judicial district.
